From the first text to the pop of champagne. My husband and I decided quite last minute that we wanted to end 2024 with our first house. While it sounds romantic, I don’t think I would ever suggest to someone to try and buy a house around several major holidays! Despite this and the obvious hurdles it presents, from the day we started looking, November 1st, to the day we moved in, December 20th, we always felt one step ahead of the game with our realtor, Ken Dalton. Not only was this our first home, but there was someone out of state involved. Add to that the unexpected and sometimes time sensitive delays or changes in plans due to the holiday season, however there was no delay in my communication with Ken. We were confident in the feeling that comes when you know someone is on your side, working on your behalf. Through paperwork and appointments, checks being written to handymen and inspectors, it was a relief to us always knowing that Ken had our backs.
